Your surgery scheduler can input a lot of information prior to the appointment date. Using a tablet PC, data can be entered bedside, or a short worksheet can be filled out and later entered into the program. This usually takes about 5 minutes to complete.
After entering a few details about the specifics of the surgery, using mostly drop down fields, reports are generated. There is an operative report detailing the Mohs stages and removal of the cancer. A repair report describing the reconstruction fo the defect is created using information such as sutures you entered earlier. You can also print out automatically generated referring practitioner letters that include pictures of the case incorporated into the bottom of the letter.
While using the trial version of the software will give you some insight into the program, you won't see it's full benefits until you incorporate it into your practice.
